Recently relocated here, we were in search of a great woodfired pizza restaurant. And oh boy did we find it! The outside patio seating has a great ambience and away from the indoor bustle. Jake, our server, was immediately attentive and got us some stillwater and took our drink orders. He ordered a glass of Malbec, I ordered the mule. I don’t know what they do differently, but that was a delicious mule. We ordered the margarita pizza, slightly crispy. I have to say, I consider myself a wood fired pizza aficionado at this point… But the crust and the sauce were absolutely delicious which they make in house every day. The basil came through, which sometimes is hard to find on a margarita pizza. They were generous with the cheese. Patrick, the manager, was kind and came around to the tables to check on everybody. So we decided on dessert… We got the mini cannolis and I ordered a cappuccino. A lot of times at a restaurant the coffee/espresso/cappuccino is not so good. It was rich and tasty. Paired perfectly with the mini cannolis which were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside with that hint of amaretto. There were chocolate chips on the end. I’m not a chocolate chip fan, but just brushed them off. It was delicious. I highly recommend to anyone who lives here or visiting, for the service, the quality of the food and the ambience, especially on the outdoor patio! We’ll be back!

I recently had an outstanding dining experience at Wood & Fire in Delray. The evening started with our drinks: Mango Mania and Tito's vodka with cranberry juice. The Mango Mania was refreshingly fruity and perfectly balanced, while the classic Tito's with cranberry was crisp and satisfying.
For appetizers, we enjoyed the Wood Oven Roasted Octopus and the Parmesan-Truffle Fries. The octopus was perfectly charred and tender, bursting with smoky flavor. The Parmesan-Truffle Fries were an absolute delight—crispy and generously seasoned with truffle oil and parmesan.
Our main entrees were the Margherita Pizza and the Mushroom Risotto with Chicken. The Margherita Pizza featured a flawless balance of fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil on a perfectly crisp crust. The Mushroom Risotto with Chicken was creamy and rich, with a wonderful blend of mushrooms and tender chicken that made each bite a joy.
The atmosphere at Wood & Fire is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed yet memorable meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
Overall, Wood & Fire in Delray is a must-visit for its exceptional food, great drinks, and welcoming ambiance. Highly recommended!

My 1st time here and I’m impressed. The food quality is really great. Main course with lamb & couscous was delicious, Delray Salad I loved a lot. Sausages were way too salty for me. Wings are really spicy but taste great. I highly recommend. I will definitely go there again.

Food was very good. Drinks were below average. Sangria used to be very good now tastes more like a fizzy fruit drink with no alcohol. Ordered a skinny margarita and tasted like it only had sweet and sour mix. Would come back as food was good but would recommend only getting beer or wine for drinks.

Revising a recent review: I wrongfully stated the food & drink has gone downhill when really it’s just the drinks, as some of the best cocktails previously offered here are no longer on the menu. I apologize and would clarify the food has been consistent. During the busier months, happy hour is restricted to the bar & high tops where families w children are now allowed, which is frustrating for locals who bring their kids to support this place during the quieter months and enjoy happy hour on the patio. I still think this should be fixed. The wait staff is usually friendly and attentive. I’d love to see this place be more consistent with offering promotions to year-round locals. Hopefully this serves as a fairer review. Apologies again.
