Holy M'Olio this place is great! Interior was gorgeous and the food was top shelf! Largest Martini I ever did see, and the asparagus were the size of mini trees! Only downside is our kind server seemed to have the entire back room, which made it feel like many tables couldn't get her attention.

What a fantastic first experience dining at Olio! I've got to say everything from the appetizers to our main course we're perfect and tasted absolutely wonderful. Our server, Candace did an amazing job as well as the rest of the staff!! We will certainly be back with more friends.

One of Delray’s best hidden gems. Their drinks and food are always consistent and the service is second to none. Happy Hour runs from Open until 6:30!!

As another reviewer here noted, I wish I could give Olio zero stars. It was truly bad everything. So where to start. Our rez was at 7:45 and we were not seated until 8. Not bad. We sat outside and tables are very close together and not socially distanced at all. Now the atrocious experience began.
Our waitress comes and introduces herself; very much overdue. We ask for waters and none come. She comes back to take our drink order. We order a cosmo and an extra-dirty martini. No waters. She comes back with our drinks. No waters and the cosmo is 3/4 full (as pictured). We also ask if we get bread after seeing other tables with it. She says yes (that’s not coming anytime soon). After realizing we have no magic powers to make water appear on our table and now knowing our waitress is inept, we ask another server. He brings water in 30 seconds. We finally have water after 30 minutes. The only water we will have all night as our glasses weren’t refilled a single time, even when empty. We desperately want to leave. But we decide to at least stay to try the apps so we can see if the food is better than the service.
Our waitress comes to take app and entree orders. No bread still and no comment on the waters which have now appeared. We order the fried crunch tuna roll, the escargot, the sea bass, and the filet mignon. The tuna was good but desperately needed a sauce and we asked for soy sauce (as it’s a sushi type roll) and they had none. Escargot was decent but drowned in breading.
And then while waiting twenty minutes for our second drink because they ran out of martini glasses, a physical altercation broke out between a patron and a server !! - likely because they were also upset by the lack of service. The patron was yelling and then the server physically pushed the patron into his wife and started threatening him. A knife was pulled out by the server as the manager and other servers broke them up. The table next to us left as they had been waiting two hours for their food. The police came in response to the restaurants call and they quickly left as the patron hadn’t reported anything. Wonder if the patron didn’t see the knife.
We wanted to leave at that point but then our entrees had already come out. Surprised the dishes could fit in the small 2 person table since none of our dishes were cleared the whole night. Anyway, the food was bland and cold so we got our check and spoke with the waitress and opted to give her a cash tip to help support the table that walked out that night due to poor management and being understaffed. We knew we weren’t getting comped anything given this managers attitude.
We will not be returning as this place is understaffed, people are wandering around with no masks, service is despicable, management and ownership could care less, food was bad, and it’s actually dangerous with KNIVES being pulled on patrons! For your safety, your wallet’s safety, and your tastebuds safety, never set foot inside this restaurant, even for a drink.
